I absolutely loved working with this! It was my first time doing macrame, and this rope is so easy to work with. It's just the right thickness (about the size of a thin Crayola marker), and the color was perfect for our wedding arch! :)

Working with this has been wonderful! I'm using it to crochet an oversized motif to decorate my chainlink fence. I wanted a synthetic to withstand the elements. I'm using a 16mm hook. I had previously used polypropylene rope (Attwood's) which was rough, hard to work, and came in much shorter lengths. So the 100 yard length and 6mm width make this a great material for this project. I bought the turquoise which is a rich, bright color. I wish the price was just a bit lower -- I would love to design rugs for this cord. It flies through my hands.

I like the yarn and would recommend it highly BUT I was sent two different dye lots. Since I work generally at night, with low lighting while the tv is on, I didn't notice it until I joined the third skein. I was able to make adjustments, but I had not intended to make a kitchen mat with a lighter color in the center. I guess I was fortunate to not have the lighter skein on the end.

CAUTION same dye lots are not sent.

I have never worked with rope for macrame and I figured this would be enough to create a huge piece but it was not. The cord is great and very thick but was far too thick for what i wanted to create which was my fault. I was unaware of what size rope to get and the length. I think this rope would be good for hanging plants or very very large macrame wall pieces but for a wall piece youu2019d need three or four bundles of this product. Still very sturdy and easy to work with.

Was a little hesitant to try this as I like the look of natural cotton. But surprise. It is not as

Was hoping to receive circular cord, but it was flat. Works for craft work, but would have looked more symmetrical had it been circular. Did not know that before purchasing it, or would have looked for a different material.

Following a tip by the son of George Sands at a seminar, I looked for macrame craft rope as a low-cost alternative to expensive
